Clear Braces

Through the technological advancement of dental tools, we are now able to offer clear braces as an alternative to traditional metal ones. Made out of different materials, such as a tooth-colored resin, clear braces come in a variety of forms. Now, patients can achieve the straight smile they desire without having noticeable metal on their teeth. There are also other forms of clear braces available to fit a patient’s needs.

Common Problems With Braces

Gum disease, cavities, demineralization, a loose bracket and more are all common problems with braces. Fortunately, our dentist office will go over all of the proper cleaning methods for braces with the patient. We will also have the dentist visit our office for cleanings and to monitor the progress of the braces, planned around the patient’s schedule.

ClearCorrect® for Teens

It is no surprise that teens dislike having to get braces. However, ClearCorrect® is a nearly invisible option that few people will notice the teen is wearing. Not only is this product nearly invisible, but it is just as effective as metal braces. Our office will examine your teen’s oral health and see if ClearCorrect® is the best treatment.

ClearCorrect® is not just for teens, but also for adults. There may come a time when an adult patient needs to wear a form of braces to straighten his or her teeth. Instead of having to wear metal braces, we can fit the adult patient with ClearCorrect® braces. Not only are they nearly unnoticeable, ClearCorrect® braces are removable and aesthetically pleasing.

Orthodontics

Orthodontics involves the adjustment and re-aligning of one’s teeth or jaw. With crooked teeth, a patient is at a greater risk of infection or overcrowding. Contrary to belief, we would rather not pull teeth unless absolutely necessary. Our orthodontics treatment will help to prevent problems from unhealthy teeth and lead to a brighter smile.

Orthodontics for Children

By starting earlier in childhood, we can help children have clean, healthy, and straight teeth for life. While children who need braces will have to wear traditional metal ones, the metal brackets are now much smaller than they used to be. We may also first use an expander to make room for other teeth. Starting the treatment as early as eight years of age can help to prevent larger oral health problems in your child’s future.
